Privacy
Tulip is made by Mimi Studio d.o.o. This describes exactly what the app does with data in version 1.0. It is short on purpose: what you tell Tulip about your child and about yourself stays on your phone.
Your family’s information stays on your phone
During setup Tulip asks about your child (a first name, age, how they communicate, what feels hardest) and about you (your first name, your energy, what would help). It uses those answers to build your plan, on the device.
Everything you add afterwards also stays on the phone: the daily reflections, the log of hard moments, wins, sleep and meals, notes, your tank check-ins, the name and number of “my person”, and the passport you can share. We never receive any of it. There is no copy of it anywhere we can reach.
Ask Tulip answers from a library of guidance that is built into the app. Your questions are matched on the phone and are not sent anywhere.
When something leaves the phone, you send it
The passport is a PDF made on your phone. It goes only where you choose to share it — a therapist, a teacher, your partner — using your phone’s share sheet. We do not receive a copy.
“Contact support” opens your own mail app with our address filled in; we receive what you choose to send, and the app version so we can help.
What we do receive
Two services receive something, and each receives only what it needs.
- RevenueCat — subscriptions
- Whether you have an active subscription and the purchase events Apple reports, tied to a random identifier. This is how the app knows to unlock and how a purchase is restored on a new phone. Payment itself is handled by Apple; we never see your card. RevenueCat never receives anything about your child or your log.
- Supabase — sign-in, only if you sign in
- Tulip does not create accounts. There is a sign-in screen for accounts we create by hand, such as the one Apple’s review team uses. If you sign in, your email address and password go to Supabase, which hosts our authentication, and the app reads one flag saying whether the account has access. Nothing about your family is sent or stored there.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Tulip schedules one daily reminder at the time you chose, on your phone. There is no server and no push service: nothing about a notification is sent anywhere, and we cannot see whether one was delivered or opened.
No analytics, no advertising tracking
Version 1.0 contains no analytics, no advertising identifier, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no ads. If a future version adds any of these, this page will say so in the same release, and iOS will ask your permission where the law requires it.
Deleting your data
“Delete my account” in Settings erases everything Tulip holds on the phone and, if you signed in, deletes that account from our sign-in service. Deleting the app also removes everything on the phone.
Neither cancels a subscription: Apple bills it, and you cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
Children
Tulip is for parents and carers, not for children to use on their own. The calm corner is something a parent hands to a child; it collects nothing. We do not knowingly collect data from children, and the information you enter about your child never leaves your phone.
Your rights
You can delete everything the app holds at any time from Settings. For access, correction, erasure or a complaint, write to [email protected] and a person will answer.
